Black & Gold can create custom barbershop packages for special occasions, taking into account your needs and budget. Whether it's to treat yourself, to get ready for a big day or for a group celebration.
This can take place either on a regular day while other clients come in and out of the shop or you and your friend group can have your own private event by renting the shop out with services as well as BYO on the drinks. If you're getting married and need your entourage to look almost as good as you, we can provide that in style, if you'd like a photographer on the day to document the special occasion that can also be arranged at an extra cost. The package will be custom to your needs.

If you haven't been here before and don't know if your haircut would fall under a fade, classic cut or re-style please choose this service and we can help you figure it out with a thorough consultation and then proceed to the service. As such the price will vary depending on what choice you make for your style and how much work is required
kids under 12 & seniors with a short back and sides, classic cut.
Teen Hairstyles, as well as Kid fades or complex hair styles for kids that require extra time. A longer appointment allows for a more thorough consultation, more detail and the current trends have pushed the timing out on particular haircuts. If you require a less time sensitive service such as a basics kids cut or buzzcut, we will ammend this upon arrival or at the reception area before leaving. We do not wish to rush a haircut that might require more care and believe in giving the best possible service.
Short back & sides with clippers starting at #1 guard or upwards & scissors on top. Styles vary.
A full fade or Taper Fade (back and sides) using clippers, this means blending from skin/ zero/ .5 as a starting point & has a more contrast and detailed appearance. Clipper or Scissor on top, any length. This can be high, like in the picture, mid or lower on the head.
Clipper cut all over with 1 or 2 graded guards and edges tidied up. Having it slightly shorter on the sides gives it a more defined shape, and it grows out nicely however a more detailed/ styled 'buzz' using more blended guards & creates a styled look goes under a regular cut or a fade cut
Depending on your hair and the time it takes, the price will vary. If you have hair passed your shoulders or very thick hair that it takes longer with a scissor cut, this service is for you. This is for restyles and longer/ thicker hair.
For the beat results, we start with an exfoliation treatment, then a pre-shave treatment with a hot towel before using a cut throat razor to shave the entire head.
This particular skin fade is done using a cut throat razor rather than just the electric foils. It also includes a pre-shave treatment and hot towel to prepare the skin
ADD ON SERVICE; Spider webs, free hand designs, and the kind of hair art that is etched and faded into the design that takes a little more time and skill to create.

All over scissor cuts takes longer than using a clippers for the sides and back, so if you'd like a carefully sculpted scissors only cut, this is for you

Over time, you will see a more even skin tone if done regularly. Your skin will feel soft and smooth afterward. It's also gentle and causes less irritation to skin than a scrub mask as it uses fruit enzymes to lift the dead skin and dissolve impurities. This will leave your skin temporarily more sensitive, so I would not recommend it just before going to the pools or anywhere you will be in contact with harsh chemicals or direct sun on a sunny day. This express treatment is followed up with a nourishing serum & gel moisturizer.

More technical haircuts such as taper/ burst fades and fades from skin/ zero/ .5 guards rather than the standard short back and sides.
1 - 2 length guards all over with clippers
For pensioners, short back & sides or all over scissor cut

Great place with nice atmosphere,
Tanith was friendly and really onto it. I was looking to try out a new hair style and she took the time to really understand what I was after, guide me through it, explain the process and what would be needed to achieve it.
Haircut itself turned out just as I had hoped, I'll be heading back in a couple months for a follow-up.
